Self-care is about taking time out for yourself to do what calms and relaxes you and nurtures your mind, soul and spirit below is a list of examples. incorporating self-care into your life gives you time to care for yourself intentionally doing what ever it is that relaxes you.

So why is it important i hear you ask ?

Taking care of yourself is very important have your ever heard the saying “you can’t pour from an empty vessel or cup”

it’s about being more present in our own life’s most of us after a long day or week feel a little or quite a lot burnt out this is our body’s way of telling you to calm down, wind down take some me time.

Being physically and emotionally exhausted isn’t good for our health. You need to rest take breaks focus on your self.  it’s an important aspect of every living person your health and well-being is very important. when we feel rested we feel more energised because we need to recharge our batteries on a regular basis. We feel good happier and energized for the week or days ahead

 It’s up to you what way you practice self-care just do it and do it now, do what ever it is that makes you feel relaxed and at one with yourself.

If your finding it hard to get started try to incorporate it once a week into you routine we call life. But we do need to how ever small we start out try to do some sort of self-love n care every day no matter how small it is. everyone is different what works for one person may not necessarily work for another.  Below is a helpful list to get you started on your road to self-loving care

  1. Take time for yourself

  3. Learn to rest not quite
  4.  Self love is self acceptance
  5. Don’t make change to complicated just begin it ( you do you boo )

  10. Take a very long relaxing Epsom salt bubble bath ( relax those muscles you deserve it )
